Value Proposition

SolPowered offers customers a turnkey installation admissible to the Ontario Power Authority Feed-In-Tariff (“FIT”) program with two options: either a completely FREE solar photovoltaic (“PV”) installation with a 20-year revenue-generating lease on the rooftop, or a competitively-priced capital investment with a payback less than 10 years.

Mounted on the roof of the building, the system generates the following benefits for each option:

Option A: System financed and owned by SolPowered and its investors

• A free installation with an initial 20-year rooftop lease revenue for the customer;
• A buy-back option at the end of the lease period allowing the transfer of electricity savings for the expected 10-20 additional years remaining in the life of the system;
• Up to 6 additional LEED certification points.

Option B: System purchased and owned by the Customer

• A less than 10-year payback on your investment;
• A subsequent cumulative revenue net of maintenance costs of an additional amount comparable to the investment over the remaining years of the 20-year FIT contract;
• Subsequent (after 20 years) electricity savings for the expected 10-20 additional years remaining in the life of the system;
• Up to 6 additional LEED certification points.
